Bellamy’s Organic Step 1 Infant Formula is a certified organic, cows’ milk based infant formula for babies from birth to 6 months, in a 900 g tin. Organic milk solids make up 72% of the powder, with organic vegetable oils, organic galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), DHA and ARA, vitamins and minerals. Bellamy’s uses certified organic cow’s milk: the pastures aren’t sprayed with synthetic pesticides and the cows aren’t treated with antibiotics or growth hormones or fed GMO grain. Its products are dual certified organic by NASAA and ACO. Bellamy’s Organic is a Tasmanian company founded in Launceston in 2004, making certified organic baby food and formula.

Feeding Guide
- Up to 2 weeks: 60 mL water + 1 scoop, 7-8 feeds a day
- Up to 1 month: 120 mL water + 2 scoops, 6 feeds a day
- Up to 2 months: 120 mL water + 2 scoops, 6 feeds a day
- Up to 4 months: 180 mL water + 3 scoops, 5 feeds a day
- Up to 6 months: 180 mL water + 3 scoops, 5 feeds a day
How to Prepare
Follow the instructions on the tin exactly. Wash your hands, then clean and sterilise all feeding equipment. Boil safe drinking water and let it cool to feeding temperature, pour the required volume into a sterilised bottle, then add level scoops of powder using only the enclosed scoop (1 scoop = 8.8 g). Shake until dissolved and test the temperature before feeding. Discard any unfinished feed. Don’t change the proportions of powder except on medical advice: incorrect preparation can make your baby very ill.
Nutrition
Per 100 mL prepared feed: energy 283 kJ, protein 1.4 g, fat 3.6 g, carbohydrate 7.6 g, DHA 10.1 mg. The feeding table is a general guide; your baby may need more or less. Store in a cool, dry place with the plastic lid on, and use within four weeks of opening.
